Susan is a mixed media artist: collage, fiber, and acrylic to mention a few. This may seem diverse, but she enjoys layering and repurposing materials into spontaneous abstractions that become reminiscent of landscapes she has seen during her travels.
She was one of four featured artists from Zanesville on “Broad and High” the WOSU television program in April 2023.
Susan shares a studio and gallery space with three other local artists at 26 North 3rd Street, Rear (faces 4th Street). We are open for visitors during First Friday Art Walk every month, by appointment, or by chance.
Susan is a retired art teacher, works with private students and leads workshops. She is a cancer survivor and has benefited from the miracle of technology with a cochlear implant.
Susan is married to Brent, has two married children, two grandchildren, and a beloved Carin terrier.
